School holidays are back and so is entertainment at House Canteen. Join us on selected dates in January for magic on the harbour!

From Friday 20 - Sunday 22 October we rolled out the Gold carpet on the lower concourse to celebrate 50 years of Sydney Opera House. Join by roving entertainers and a specially curated gold themed menu including cocktails! 

During the July school holidays, House Canteen was a hub of enchantment! Our favourite Sydney magicians wowed customers with their dazzling show by the harbour. Laughter, wonder, and applause filled the air as the magic unfolded before delighted eyes. A truly unforgettable experience!

Our space was transformed by mesmerising LED glass blown light installations by the talented Carla O'Brien, providing the perfect backdrop for an evening of wonder and excitement.

In April we had building blocks and Lego sets for children of all ages, so they could let their imaginations run wild while you enjoyed your meal. Plus, our skilled balloon twisters created intricate designs that left your kids amazed and delighted.

The Lunar New Year weekend was a spectacular celebration! Guests were treated to delectable food specials, including succulent pork belly and refreshing cocktails. The traditional Dragon Dance under the sails of the Opera House was a highlight of the event, with its stunning performance captivating the audience.
