Kids School Holidays

House Canteen is the perfect spot to enjoy a casual and kid-friendly breakfast, lunch, or dinner while taking in the show-stopping views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. 

 

Over the April school holidays, parents ditched the packed lunch boxes and let the kids delve into our kids' bento boxes that came with a free Little Nippers activity pack! Kids imaginations ran wild with our free entertainment from DARE magician and artistic face painting by Bewitched Faces on selected dates in April.

Lunar New Year

 

On Friday 9 and Saturday 10 February 2024, we welcomed lunar year with luck and happiness! 

 

We celebrated the year of the dragon at House Canteen with food and drinks specials, and traditional lion dance performances. It was a wonderful way to discover and enjoy the rich traditions of the Lunar New Year and celebrate on Sydney's Harbour that the whole family could enjoy.

From Friday 20 - Sunday 22 October we rolled out the Gold carpet on the lower concourse to celebrate 50 years of Sydney Opera House. Join by roving entertainers and a specially curated gold themed menu including cocktails!

Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year weekend was a spectacular celebration! Guests were treated to delectable food specials, including succulent pork belly and refreshing cocktails. The traditional Dragon Dance under the sails of the Opera House was a highlight of the event, with its stunning performance captivating the audience. The festive atmosphere was infectious, with visitors embracing the cultural spirit of the Lunar New Year. Tokyo Nights

The vibrant world of Tokyo Nights transported guests to the bustling streets of Tokyo this New Year's Eve! The party was filled with sensory delights, from roving performers to live DJs, and Tokyo-inspired food and cocktails.
