April School Holidays

 

Heading to the Opera House or Circular Quay with the kids over the April school holidays? Kick-start the fun at House Canteen, located along the waterfront beneath the Opera House sails.

 

House Canteen is the perfect spot to enjoy a casual and kid-friendly breakfast, lunch, or dinner while taking in the show-stopping views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Parents can take time to mingle in a relaxed environment while the kids enjoy our free entertainment on select dates in April.

 

Open every day from 7.30am, rise and dine at our bakery, serving up freshly baked pastries, bacon and egg rolls and delicious Bad Boy Bakehouse donuts. From lunch through to late night, enjoy pan-Asian favourites like dumplings, sashimi, and poke bowls, plus new delicious bites from our Autumn menu like Japanese-inspired hotdogs, teriyaki chicken and Thai red curry.

 

Kids can feast on chicken katsu and ditch the packed lunch boxes for our kids' bento boxes that come with a free Little Nippers activity pack! Stop by and end a full day of fun watching the sun set over Sydney Harbour and the city skyline.

Bewitched Faces

Experienced face painters, Bewitched Faces bring their creativity to House Canteen and spread joy with their designs, using high-quality, water-based hyper allergenic face paints. Let your kids reveal their artistic flare and enjoy this free entertainment from 11.30am - 2.30pm on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th April.

23rd & 24th April

DARE Magician

Prepare to be wowed as DARE Magician returns to House Canteen. Free for all to attend, DARE will have your imaginations enter a world of trickery, while our central and icon location will keep you engrossed for hours. Visit House Canteen on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th of April from 11.30am - 2.30pm.
